What is MMA?Methyl Methacrylate Resin (MMA) was invened in around 1965. The prime use for MMA was as a modifier for PVC another application was as a cement for total hip and knee replacements by surgeons, it is used to fix boneto bone, which is still used today. Over the last 50 years MMA has been developed for wall and floor coatings due to its natural anti-bacterial properties, no VOC’s and it has no Isocyanates which are harmful to mankind causing asthma and possibly cancer.
